Picking out our Christmas Tree

It's been years since we had a real tree.  It's been even longer since we cut our own tree.  So, we thought it would be nice to head over to Danville Farms and enjoy an afternoon picking out a real tree and cutting it down.
First, we took a hayride down to other side of the farm where the trees were.

We must have walked all over the farm picking out one tree and then quickly changing our mind running over to another one.  This went on for quite awhile.  Just when we had all agreed on the tree, one of the kids found a better one.

Finally, we found a tree that we all liked and had Jonny start cutting it before anyone could change their mind again.
After we paid for our tree we hung out and played, ate peanuts, drank hot chocolate, and got warm in front of the fire.

The kids also climbed this huge tree.
