Date Night

John and I attended his work Christmas party.  It was 6-midnight.  We left half way through it and that felt late to us.  That's just how we roll.  Still, it was a very nice evening and I enjoyed being out with my man.

  3. Lovely photos :-) You look like a couple of teenagers out on a date!I think 'date night' is a great idea for couples to reconnect away from the children.

  7. Great couple :) You look fantastic Christine! I was reading one of your blogs before about your weight loss and how you wanted to lose another 8 lbs, did you ever meet that goal?? Doesn't it feel amazing to have achieved weight loss? So many people struggle with it, especially in this country and it really isn't easy to lose it healthily, a lot of people go on crash diets or bogus supplements. It isn't hard to lose the weight, what is hard is maintaining the mindset and willpower to achieve your goal. I wish my mom would take a few cues from you! Not that she's obese but she's very unhappy with her weight these days and she's gone for liposuction and what not, and she's still not happy. But its her own fault, I'm a certified nutritionist and personal trainer and I've helped people far worse than her to achieve their goals, but my mom totally lacks the willpower, ill put her on a diet plan and 2 days in she'll be like "I haven't lost anything! Im done with this!" lol. Its not like she has a massive amount to lose either, maybe 20lbs at the most, and i tell her to do it now because my mom is getting older, she's in her mid 60s and its not going to get any easier, she was in fantastic shape her whole life and she never had to do much to maintain it except riding her bike, which she still does, but her body doesn't respond the way it used to and i think thats where her lack of willpower comes from, the fact that she never had to do much to stay in shape and now she does and she's kind of discouraged.
