At Its Worst

Can you say, "Ouch!"
This was how Andrew's burn looked about 3 days ago.  It was at its worst stage.  Blisters had formed and they moved anytime pressure was applied.  It was slightly painful and very itchy.
It looks much better today.  The blisters are gone, the color is lighter, and the area is beginning to shrink.  I'll post a picture next time I upload pictures from my camera.

  1. I did the same thing to myself as a kid at about the same age. The scar was visible until I became pregnant when I must have stretched the skin enough to make the shaded area disappear. I feel his pain.

  5. Praying for quick healing……a bit late…but next time someone has a burn…apply vitamin C to the burn…I know, wait until the trauma and the tears have stopped because it may burn a bit….but by the next day the burn will be noticeably less…works great with sunburns also. We keep vitamin c crystals in the house and mix with water and put on a cloth and lay it over the burn for a bit and repeat for a few times….you could still do it now to his burn…just make sure you use filtered water and a very clean cloth….don't want to add bacteria to the mix….Marianne D.

  6. Vitamin E oil or cream will help keep the area moisturized and help with healing. The itchiness could be due to the healing process or dry area. Hope he is back to his sweet self soon!
