Five Years Old!

Well it was finally Nolan's turn.   For what?  To blow out birthday candles that's what.
And his grin was from ear to ear.
Gosh do I love this boy.
I am so thrilled to report that he was fever free for this special day and has continued to be since he began both antibiotics.  This trooper had to fight not only a staph infection in the ears, but a kidney infection too.
Anyway, he is doing much better as you can see.
For something different and fun, we took the family to McDonalds so the younger kids could play in the play place.

Nolan was pretty excited to play that he didn't really eat very much.
Later in the evening we sang happy birthday and watched Nolan try to blow out his candles.

  He needed help from Daddy.
Nolan enjoyed opening up his presents.
Oliver really enjoyed the truck that Nolan got.  Thankfully Nolan shared.

Beep, beep!  Nolan is ready to go outside and ride in his new truck!
Happy birthday to the happiest, laughiest, goofiest, sweetest five year old named Nolan!
