Summer Days

Our garden is doing well.   All the new tomatoes don't have the rot on the end of them.  Yay!  I thought all of them would be ruined by blossom end rot.  We even have a few green beans!
I love these canisters.  They make organizing so easy.
Julia went through all the yarn today.  She wound up the tangled yarn into balls.
Nolan, Oliver, and Alex hanging out in the kitchen while I make dinner.
Dennis learned to ride a two wheel bike today.  He was the quickest to learn.  He was also the first of our kids to learn on a balance bike first.  We are so proud of him!
Here is Jonny sporting his new haircut.
Nolan rides this tricycle like a champ, but he has outgrown it.  After seeing Dennis ride his big boy bike, Nolan is now riding the balance bike.  I think it is a matter of time before he is riding a bigger bike too!

  1. Fun stuff! I can't fathom having a backyard big enough to ride a bike in.

  2. I'm not sure what you mean by a balance bike.

  3. We are trading Eggs for tomatoes with our neighbors. :)
Our kids all learned by balance bikes.
The kids are all adorable. :)

  4. Hi! It is hard for a child to learn how to ride a bike. In Erie at the Barber National Inst.there is a program that is offered that teaches children how to ride bike.It is an awesome to see Dennis riding his bike. Thanks,Pat

  5. Dennis looks so big!!!!! Oh my! And Oliver is also looking so big now. They grow up so fast - enough to make your head spin :-)

  6. If your tomatoes rot again give them calcium and a good soak of water, in Italian this disease is called "sedere nero" aka "black bottom"

I find your comments so inspiring! Thanks for visiting our family blog, and sharing your thoughts.
