The Birthday Boy!

We have a 10 year old in the house!
Happy birthday Andrew!
Tonight we celebrated Andrew's birthday at Red Robin because turning 10 is a big deal!
It was nice to have Grandpa and Grandma join us.
The service could not be better!  The place was packed, but we had a reservation.  The regional manager even offered extra chicken fingers to the birthday boy and mac and cheese to Mr. Cutie Dennis!

Andrew, you are such an incredible boy-- don't ever change!
Alex sat next to me and shared a burger and fries.

Andrew got a new four square ball.  All the kids were so excited because it is the current rage around here.

We love you!

  3. Alex's mouth rash is most likely herpes. I have an adopted child that breaks out all the time. The medicine he takes may contribute to his immune system's inability to fight it off. The sun often causes the break outs too so lots of hat wearing and sunblock including the specialized lip sunblock. He can take acyclovir orally and denavir is the topical cream. Both have worked for my son.

  7. Happy Birthday Andrew!

I just read about a girl called Laurel, she's 15 and a half and has arthrogryposis. If she's not adopted by 16 she'll spend her life in an adult institution. Can you help find her a family?

  8. Hi!I love hearing about your children's birthday. My children also love to celebrate birthdays. When my children were younger I would call the dining place we were going to and order ahead what each child wanted to eat for dinner. It made ordering so much easier. We generally went to the same dining place for years to celebrate birthdays.I was very sad when it closed.Pat

  9. Happy birthday! Double digits a very big deal. I love how you manage to make every birthday special, even though there are quite a few of them close together. :)

  12. What a great post!

Totally randomly, I remember you mentioning that your poor boys suffer with bad chapped lips (and seeingAlex still suffering!). My son does too and here in the UK there is an AMAZING cream called Cymex wich just helps so much. It literaly clears them over 2 days.

Could I possibly send you a tube via the post for you to try?
