Ceramic Bowls

This is the kids' latest projects.  I can't wait to see them once they have been fired.
We are all anxious to see if they will leak or not.

Today we went to the Goodwill Store.  Found some really cute things and two pairs of jeans for the middle boys who keep putting holes in their knees in every pair of jeans they own.

  2. Do your girls that are the same size share clothes or do you buy for each one and keep each separated? My three oldest boys are the same size but they do not share. Just curious how girls are about that sort of thing.

  3. I found that applying the "iron on mending patch" to the inside of new jeans at knee level helped tremendously. Its not entirely impossible to rip through the jeans and the patch but new jeans should last a lot longer.

There are different brands available and I think ours came from Walmart.

  4. SEARS!!! They're Toughskins brand jeans are the greatest for lil guys who put holes in the knees... Sears will REPLACE them with a BRAND NEW pair- same size- if they get a hole. How cool is that?! We've got 3 lil men who are forever aquiring holes in their jeans. Sears save plenty of $$ for me! :)

  5. I had to weigh in on the ripped jeans issue. Adelise has ripped three pairs of jeans out since September. The last pair lasted less than a month! Obviously girls can be just as hard on clothes as boys!

  6. I am constantly sewing patches on jeans over here! We have a rule that they are not allowed to crawl on their hands and knees if they are wearing pants, to at least help slow down the holes!

  8. I think anonymous meant Plato's Closet. I have sold clothes to them before but never bought any. They are still expensive! You can get the same thing at the thrift store for way less.
