Earlier in the week I had parent teacher conferences. Dennis' teacher insisted that we make him a soap box car so that he can walk around in the parade tomorrow. I am so glad that I took her advice.
It's nothing fancy-- but shhhhh-- don't tell Dennis that because he loves it!
Today I was reminded once again that ever little bit counts. I thought that because it was a busy week, I wasn't that creative, and I heard that other parents went all out making sure they get all the attention-- there was no point in making Dennis a car.
How wrong I was.
All the kids helped-- even Dennis, and like I said--
one little boy is very excited to go to school tomorrow in his little red car.
Alex's cord is tethered. Not a big concern right now since it is not causing any problems, but the Neurologist said that in order for Alex to have bowel surgery, he needs to have his cord untethered first.
Tomorrow I take Alex for a consult. Most likely he will be having his first major surgery next month.
