A Nice Bus

Yay!!!!! I don't think it's premature to say!

The day I first shared about Dennis continuing to be picked on, I emailed the principal about it. She wrote back immediately-- "I'll talk to her."
Not knowing exactly what would be done, we began getting on the bus in the morning to see how the kids responded to him.
Nothing last Friday.
Great, but that's only one day.
Then nothing yesterday.
Woo-hoo, she is sitting at the back of the bus.
And today... nothing.
Three days of not being mean to Dennis.
His eye patch is off.
My big boy who turns FIVE this week asked if his friends could come to his birthday.
But he doesn't know their names.
That's okay. He is still going to have fourteen of his bestest friends in the whole wide world there.
Each and every one thinks He is the bomb!
Well.... he is.
But back to the teasing.
Finally.... a nice bus.
I hope it lasts.

Oh, and thanks for voting for me over at Circle of Moms. If you would be so kind to stop over there again today to vote for Smiles and Trials-- I promise I'll keep blogging. ;)

I'm so glad for Dennis. Children many times can see past almost anything. I think they will see past Dennis eye and right into his heart. Much luck and happy early birthday to Dennis.

Hopefully the meanness came only from ignorance and will stay away. So sorry for the loss of your grandfather :( but I am glad you were able to be with family at this time, and you were there for your family. I voted for you.
Love and hugs to everyone!

happy birthday to your son, and glad you have a school that cares enough to make sure it quit immediately!

Hi! I am glad things are working out with your baby and the bus riders not teasing him. But please stay on top of it. Your baby is a easy going child and may not want to tell you when other children are being mean to him.You may want to ask the bus driver and teacher how he is doing .You may want to look into starting "a circle of friends" activities group for Dennis. If you want to know more about a circle of friends give me a call .Pat
