At ROJ there are plenty of bugs. Big bugs too!
Outside our cabin door one evening we found this big horned beetle. It was almost metallic in color. For fun one night, Sasha, Julia, and I put the beetle and kitten together to play. The kitten had a fun time batting around this beetle who held its own and finally walked off into the night.

Another day we found this bug. All I could think about was how much fun my boys would have with all the interesting bugs around here.
The boys bathroom had a resident frog for a while. He kept it bug free.
One evening one of the construction workers who happens to be a Sasha too went crawdad hunting. He came back with a bucketful of them. Here is Sasha goofing around with one.
Here is the frisky little kitty that stayed up late at night with us. He has an older brother from a previous litter and his Mama has since had a brand new litter with seven kittens.

Hi! The cat looks cute such very white fur. The camp looks rather clean for being outdoors.Pat
We have those huge beetles down here, too. The boys love to catch them and watch them crawl around.
That crawdad picture is a bit disturbing . . . Sasha isn't afraid of anything, is he? lol.
