For Some Crazy Reason...

my girls have this overwhelming desire to learn Russian. As I type this, they are next to me learning how to pronounce certain words. :)

Thats great! Did any of them have Russian as their first language? Do any of your children remember Russian to teach them?
Alina Grace loves to teach me Russian. She says its our secret language, so Papa cant learn with me. LOL
What a great thing this is!

I have been reading your blog for three years and I always hoped I might read this exact post!

I would encourage it--especially as 2 years of a foreign language are required for high school graduation. If you are homeschooling some of your girls--this is a great opportunity. With Russian being an important part of several of your children's heritage--that makes it even more perfect. I hear Rosetta Stone is a good curriculum.

I love russianlessons.net. It may be too hard for younger kids though. I love the set up. Just a thought...
