It Ended Well

The day turned out okay. William went with me when I took Sveta to her RSP and Speech. The reproducibles that I ordered from the school resource center were all winners! Words on the Vine, Personal Finance, and Math Minders. When I went to pick Caleb up he was still feeling under the weather. I let him out of vacuuming the house today... and I told him that if he still wasn't feeling well in the morning he could stay home. At the kids' art class tonight, they painted their pinch pots and I painted a little pitcher perfect for serving sweet milk with waffles or pancakes. We all had so much fun, and the kids proved once again how talented they are. Julia had dinner ready for us when we got home.

I am nearly finished with all of the homestudy paperwork.... which is a miracle. Since our last state adoption, the paperwork has doubled... and I thought international adoption paperwork was hard. We still have fingerprinting and medicals to do. Speaking of medicals, John successfully added Galina to our insurance. Yeah! Anyway, I'm glad the paperwork is almost behind us because it means we are one step closer to finalizing Galina's adoption.

Glad to hear good news.

I loved Words on a Vine! Easy to use, easy to understand. Hope it goes well for you.

Hi! I am glad that Galina is doing so well in your home and has had so much success. But with Galina doing so well the preadoptive visits and post adoptive visits will go well.Good luck with your new lady, Pat

We have started meeting with different agencies to begin an adoption journey (it seems God is saying now is the time!) and I am not looking forward to the paperwork. It is one of my weaknesses. Good for you for getting everything done AND homeschooling so many of your kids!! You are amazing!

Hi Christine, I just wanted to take a moment to say Hi. I haven't had much time to read blogs lately. I just wanted to tell you you have encouraged me. I am homeschooling my boys next year. I thought, If you can do it, I can do it with only six. Looks like life keeps you busy. You are a blessing. Keep on Keepin on! - Janelle
