Very busy with homeschooling. That's all. :) When we went to sign the girls out of their school, to my dismay, I found out that Anastasia and Sveta had left their math book over Christmas break and now they were lost! We looked high and low-- I refused to pay $66 for each book. Finally a compromise-- I found the books on Amazon for $24 including shipping. Now the girls are working off their fines-- a win-win for everyone!
This morning Anastasia informed me that she had opened the wrong side of the can of dogfood. She thought herself clever to realize that the bottom with the pulltab was the side that should of been opened! How silly!

You are very clever with that textbook issue! I insist on looking high and low before I pay a fine. I've found books in some very unusual places....often put there by me, I must confess.
You are a wise woman.
PS. Don't let homeschooling chew you up and spit you out. Be sure to have some fun.
Totally understand....homeschooling takes time......hang in there and have some great times too!!!
Some very very very wise people who homeschool have told me- make at least time for GOD, your hubby, and a nap/reading a book/doing blogging or something you want to do too :) It will make your homeschooling more fun!
Hi!I have used Amazon and bought many books for my homeschooling classes.Good luck, Pat
Books roaming through the house and getting lost drives me crazy! Finally(!), the kids are getting pretty good at keeping them in their backpacks, or on a specific bookshelf in the living room. Sanity!
