Whether he is helping to lace up skates at a roller rink--
or helping one of his daughters jump over a wave--
or helping a child with a bible study--
or just lovingly watching a Mandy Moore music video with them--
he is always giving-- of his time and love. What an example he is to our sons so that they can grow up and be good Fathers themselves one day. What a great example he is to our daughters who maybe didn't have a such a good roll model for a father before they joined our family. For one daughter-- he is the first father she has had in at least six years. Not only that, but he is showing each of our daughters wonderful qualities to look for in the man that they will one day marry.
Counting my blessings tonight.

Hi! This is so wonderful throughout the Bible it is stated Train up a child in the way he-or she should go and serve the Lord, John seems like he is doing this.Blessings to your family for having a man of leadership in your family, Pat
I love your post! What a blessing John is to you and your family but also how blessed he is! To have a wonderful wife and mother to his kids! I love the time you all spend together and love how you all just pour out "love" to one another. Truly blessed!
What a lovely tribute to a loving husband and father. Home Run John!
He seems to have such a tender heart. That is such a blessing to all of you, I know!
I have a husband like that too. Sometimes I wonder why God allowed this gift in my life. I am so unworthy, but I will take it!! YEAH for GREAT husbands!!!!!! :) Thanks for sharing and reminding me.
