Hang in there... I'd say it can only get easier, except that I'm sure over the next few days it's going to get messier and even more chaotic until finally your life is packed into those trucks. And then there'll be all the sorting and sifting and settling in the new spot - but you've known for so long this is the right thing to do. I'm sure it isn't easy with children for whom a move has meant the loss of everything they've ever known including parents and care-givers and language. And I'm sure all those memories are surfacing. But get yourselves, all of you together, into the new place and this will be Us, The Family, united - and with every single one of you having been present from the start. That'll be a lovely equaliser for all the newer children you have.

...I took 8 years of piano and now know nothing?

I love.Love.LOVED Oregon Trail as a kid. When we made a special trip to Indianapolis to go to the Children's Museum I was so excited for my oldest to get to play it. He and his friend were excited too...to see how quickly they could kill everybody off! Boys!!

My 4 year old has also learned that same phrase to say to us. She also says that we are meanest parents every. I was wondering if this was normal behavior. Yikes they are so young.
