I Know, I Know... It is Totally Gross

But I had to find a good way to explain to Anastasia and Paul the importance of brushing and what their teeth will look like if they do not allow the dentist to fix the 13 cavities they have between them.

Oh my goodness, just who does that poor tooth belong too?

That looks like a very bad tooth. Are the kids brushing better after seeing it?
I have a son who loves soda. I only buy it for special occasions, like picnics, but he has asked me why I don't buy it more. It is one of the worst things for your teeth. I have gone online to find pictures of severe decay from soda drinking to show him.

Looks like a Ukrainian tooth to me!!! The first year we had our Andrii home he had about 13 visits to our dentist and tons of work done. He was only 10 years old. I'd never seen so many cavities in one mouth before. All of Anna's baby teeth had cavities too. In the beginning it looked like she'd eaten Oreo's and needed to wash them down with milk! They're all in good shape now though!

LOL.... I remember how terrified Erika was of the dentist. They didn't use anesthesia where she lived.

So our first visit was just a visit. Her little tears streamed down her face as she submitted to opening her mouth. To her delight, there was no pain. After that, it was smoothe sailing. :) She had 8 cavities, 4 needing root canals. ugh......
