It was time to wake up. Everyone else had already been up for a while. Caleb resisted even though I had reminded him the night before that I expected him to get up by 10 am and if that was a problem he should go to be earlier than midnight. I yelled from the bottom of the stairs for him to wake up-- Adam offered to help me out and be Caleb's alarm clock.

So, Adam went into the room set up his amp and gave Caleb a front row electric guitar solo.
THAT WOKE HIM UP!

:-) That made me laugh out loud! Such a funny yet kind thing to do!
Reminds me of the time my mom played revelry on the trumpet for me....hmmmm....also an effective alarm :)
HAHAHA what a way to wake up! At camp, I once woke up to a counselor blowing a trumpet in my ear. Fortunately, I had a pair of socks handy and I shoved them into the open end of the instrument :-D
I LOVE it!! I used to stand on my kids's beds and make up songs for them. (Okay, I still do that sometimes;-)
Nothing like waking up in a musical. Hope their is no retaliation.
Haha! Too funny!
That's hilarious. It's not often that the kids get a parent-sanctioned opportunity to annoy their siblings!!!!
LOL..my boys do that to each other..
we also have a 10am sleep in time limit..and they stick to it..when i'm home
