Celebrating Life

Our kitten Bello is growing up. He is just a sweet and fun, little thing. After shutting down my planter to his potty activities, I got him a litterbox and even put a little of the dirt from the planter he was using to carry over his scent-- but noooo.... he decided to go like a dog on the lawn. It was hilarious. So I, as gross as it sounds, picked up his business and put it in the litterbox and walked him through the motions of burying it. Well finally-- that worked!

Here he is just chilling in a tree.

One of the kids found this water sprinkler toy in the garage. Anastasia thought it was the neatest thing. Here we have a pool and this is what gave her the biggest smile to date.

She loved it! And so did her brothers.

They played and played.
Paul has discovered the skateboard. After watching his brother Caleb he is now trying to find his balance.

Nothing beats an ice-cream sandwich on a hot summer day! Especially after proving that you can swim!

Way to go Paul!

The other night we went over to my Mom and Sister's house to pick up her car. She gave it to us since Adam will soon be driving. Thank you Sis! It is a wonderful car and we are enjoying it! Since we were near one of our favorite family restaurants "Red Robin" and we just got a free car, and it was Dennis' two year anniversary, and we just brought home our two new children-- we thought it would be nice to celebrate with dinner. And all the kids did great and we were blessed with the best waiter I think we have ever had.

Tonight the kids rediscovered this. Anastasia loved being scared! Her laugh was so cute and tonight I got to see a playful side of her that I hadn't seen before.

I know you have had these precious babies home just a couple of weeks, but it is so amazing to me how God is incorporating them right into your family! Adoption is a beautiful thing! So beautiful!

You have a beautiful and amazing family. And what an amazing adoption journey. I loved reading all about your little boy Dennis. Oh boy...I was brought to tears while reading all about the journey with him. Of course I had to skim through your many posts on him. He is beautiful indeed! God's amazing Grace is definitely on your beautiful family.

Nice getting to know all of you :)

Love the new family pictures.

How nice of your sister. Having another driver will be a bonus too. I imagine CA laws are like here in CT about driving with others in the car after getting your license but eventually he'll be able to drive his sibblings.

What is nice is that during the day you can drive that as it'll be better on gas.

I love the new blog look! Those header pics are fantastic!

How exciting that Adam is going to be driving soon! That'll be nice to have an extra person who can pick people up from various extracurriculars/playdates/appointments. I'm *still* chauffering my sister to various things because she hasn't bothered to get her license yet. She's turning 22 soon, and I may take her out for driving lessons myself to help expedite the process :-D

Also, I LOVE that pic of Dennis at the restaurant - he looks like a movie star telling the paparazzi "no more photos." So cute!

Your family is so adorable. Wish I took a camera with me wherever I went...wait, I don't have a camera I can take with me wherever I go. But, it's time for swim lessons. I'd better git.

I love your new blog look!

My Adam is old enough for his permit but we are not seeing the responsibility we need to see for him to have it. Teens who sneak out don't drive : (

It's so nice to see all your children having fun together.
