All 16 of Us!

After two different locations and probably 50 shots per my request we finally have a new family picture. At first I wasn't too crazy about it because not every set of eyes are open wide, and not every set of beautiful teeth are showing-- but after some examination at both myself and the picture--- I have come to love it! I think it turned out great and just shows everyone's personality. If I could change one thing (not people) about it though--- it would be the cars in the background and John would take out the crutch.

Thank you Cousin Matt for your sweat and patience. :)

P.S. I would love to see your recent family shots-- so if you have one please leave a link to it!

I think it turned out great! Funny, I didn't even notice the crutch or the cars until you pointed them out. Our first picture of the 6 of us turned out imperfect with a glare of sunshine in the middle of it. Now I look back at it and kind of like it b/c it reminds me of the beginning of our lives together. Since then we did a formal portrait. I have both hanging up.

Love your photo. It's always so great to see large adoptive families! I've been a reader via Google Reader for some time and love following your blog. We have 12 adopted kids, ages 29 down to 5. I'm only 35!! :) (our oldest 2 girls are "informally" adopted) We also have 8 (soon to be 9 grandchildren)!

Here's a photo (missing several several people)...

Enjoy!

Looks great! My Aunt (she passed away from Cancer 5 years ago.) has 11 kids, the youngest is now 5 years old. :)

I think it is a great photo. I am amazed that you got this one with so many kids to try to get to smile and look at the same time. I only have 4 kids and have a hard time getting a good pic. If you really would like the crutch and the cars out of the photo I think that it is possible. I own Photoshop and Lightroom have done similar things to my own photos. If you would like for me to try to work some magic on it feel free to e-mail it to me and I will see what I can do. My e-mail address is melissamoss79@live.com.

We tried to get a good family picture when Jeff was home for Jessica's graduation but it was not wildly successful!

And to think that I sometimes find it difficult to get a good shot of the three of us! Our most recent family shots are in this post: http://themceacherns.blogspot.com/2010/07/4th-of-july-weekend-trip.html

Great shot of all of you!

I didnt even see the crutch until you mentioned it and then I had to go looking for it. I think all those gorgous faces are too much distraction that no one will even SEE the crutch! and if they do? well thats part of your life too right? its a great photo! I cant wait to get Natasha Diana, Andre and Jaeger home here and get a big photo!!!

It's a great shot! John and Adam look so much alike that it is comical!

What a wonderful family photo!! I had to LOOK for the crutch...kinda like finding Waldo.

We're blessed with one lovely daughter and at times, it takes tons of tries before we can get a smile on cue. Here's one I posted at Christmas: http://ourrussianangel.blogspot.com/2009/12/merry-christmas-2009.html

Blessings to you all,
Laura :)
