Christine, Happy birthday! I just now finished reading all your archives and your blogs that tell about your adoptions. I love reading about your family, as I hope to have a large adoptive family someday myself. (Just have a find a husband first!) I think you are an awesome mom and wife, and you probably don't see it since you've been living it in real time, but when reading the archives and cramming several years of your family history into a month, I can see how much you have grown in your Christian walk in the past years, and want to encourage you by saying that it is very visible how you are getting more like Jesus (not that you weren't nice at the beginning of your blog, of course). I have always tended to be a little afraid of people with disabilities, but seeing your journey especially with Dennis, and what a sweet boy he is, has really changed my heart and given me the courage to say yes, I would be open to adopting a special needs child someday, for sure! Thanks so much for blogging. All your kids are so precious and beautiful, and it is so nice of you to open a window to those of us who are "wanna be large family moms." Praying for you all on your trip to Ukraine and that A and P will settle into your family well. Julie in OK
