Recuperating from a long weekend. Took a last minute "vacation" down to visit some friends, caught up on ten loads of laundry, stretched the leftovers to avoid grocery shopping today, and attended a birthday party--- all with all the kids.
Tomorrow's schedule is looking just as busy--- yeah for me!
But on the bright side-- only five days until I get to go away with some friends to the beach for the weekend. Yeah for me!
I'm kind of wiped out so off to bed for me.
P.S. Should I feel guilty for looking forward to getting away for the weekend? This will be the first time in I don't know how long.... sleeping in, catching up with the girls, staying up late playing games, no housework, no mouths to wipe, and no bickering to attend to--- oh my, I could hardly wait.

I'm listening to Cliff Richard's Seven Days to a Holiday on your behalf.
You shouldn't feel guilty, you are not going to a cruise around the world for 7 months. :-)
Enjoy! You deserve it!
You should NOT feel guilty at all!!!!! It's I'm sure long overdue. Have a wonderful girls' weekend at the beach.

Absolutely DO NOT feel any guilt! This time will make you an even better mom to those kiddos!!! We as moms, don't take enough me time to recharge and rejuvenate...do it and have a GREAT time :-)
Busy busy! You deserve a break! Don't feel guilty!
Your weekend away sounds wonderful!!! Enjoy it!
There should be absolutely NO GUILT in making time to take care of yourself and recharge your batteries. You will be a better Mom and partner to your husband! Plus you will teach your children that it is part of normal adulthood to have time away to reconnect with friends sans family. There is a time and place for both! Enjoy!
