Pictures of Our Day

Miss O is such a vibrant, outgoing girl! Words like energetic, fearless, and spunky also come to mind!

We are all enjoying her visit with us. Right now they are all out swimming!

Today is a beautiful day! Andrew, Jonny, Dennis, and William like being high in the sky!

There is nothing Miss O is unwilling to try.

And everything she has tried she has done well with-- amazing!

The kids just hanging out.

Sveta soaking up the sun while eating an OtterPop.

John took Miss O on a motor scooter ride. She loved it!

And it was cool the way she let her hands fly beside her-- trusting John's arms around her.

Anna is a cartwheeling queen!

Miss O can ride a bike!

Go Miss O Go!

How will she ever want to leave and go back to the orphange after having so much fun with your family and being in such a lovely home?

What a cutie! I know you have posted in the past about hosting (I think) but I was wondering if you could comment about how that works again? Is she available for adoption?

if she's from ukraine, and you're looking to adopt from there, why not ADOPT HER??? if you're set on a boy, why not take her AND a boy?

just saying... maybe God put her with you guys for a reason that involves her staying? she looks like she fits right in. and she couldn't be any cuter!

By the way, that picture of Sveta with the dogs sitting by her is so cute! Love it.

Before I read the post, I just saw a little clip of the picture and thought it was Julia. She's a cutie!

(And sorry for never writing you back. Thanks for your taking the time to answer all of my questions!)

You should adopt Oksana. Why take a chance on another child when you have had one that already seems to fit in with your dozen?

Hi Christie! First of all, I would say you and your family is totally delightful! Thank you for sharing!
My name is Lera and I’m russian. I’ve seen you on youtube and now read your blog from time to time. It’s very fascinating :)My english as you see is fair to middling, but Russian is ok :) So, if you need any help with translation or with finding something in russian (like cartoons, movies or something else), I’ll be glad to help you with the greatest pleasure!
I haven’t blog here, so you can mail me on kakbiya @ mail.ru

By the way, have you seen this cartoon? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsl9ZGfy2nE
It's an old russian animation, but still very popular among kids and adults. This cartoon is little sad, but with happy end and subject of it's really suitable)

Christine thank you for coming over to my spot in blogland.

When I see families such as yours with huge hearts to love so many it gives a big glimpse of what God intended for our lives- a peek into heaven as such.

God bless you and your family as you continue to let Jesus flow through your lives- it is awesome to see!

I agree that she looks just like Julia.

I also agree with, "Why not make her permanent and call her your Ukranian adoption?"

I was going to say she looks like a Reed...but I see it's already been said!

But she does :)

my husband is in ukraine right now, after a week of paperwork to adopt our son (9). could be weeks more, with the airline issues.

It's so nice to come here and see Miss O's smile, knowing he will be happily home very soon...
