What seems like a long time ago, I often wondered if Dennis would do everything other kids his age do. Not that he couldn't, but more due to the fact that I was so protective of my little piece of china that I was too afraid of him getting hurt. I just wasn't sure if I was willing to risk him possibly falling or bumping his head by going out and being the rough and tough little boy I knew was hiding inside him. But little by little God showed me that if I, his mother, wanted people to see and know that he was fully capable of doing whatever he wanted to in life-- I needed to become Dennis' encourager not his stumbling block.
Go Dennis Go!
Alex is becoming more and more mobile as he learns to walk along things he can hold onto. Just like Dennis, he is becoming a master at climbing this ladder and sliding down the slide. These two can play outside forever if I let them!
Looky here.
And now that turkey is playing the drums!
Today I felt like trying some new recipes out. So I did.
I also thought these beets would be a great thing for me to practice taking pictures of. I think this picture turned out okay in my book--- it may be safe to say that I have finally learned how to hold the camera still. I can actually see some detail. That is the first thing you learn in Photography 101 right?

Oops, I meant to say "the picture of Dennis." :-)
The picture of Alex about to come down the slide is great! That's a really cool angle.
Some time ago you posted pictures of Dennis with protective glasses. Has he progressed that he no longer needs them?
How much Alex has progressed with his walking. The orphanage would not recognize him now.
Will your kids eats beets?
The beet photo is wonderful. MY children certainly love beets. I am never sure about the mess, however.
I love fresh beets!!! Yummy! I think I will be buying some soon now!
No, the first thing you learn in photography 101 is... take the lens cap off, lol.
