Miss O is leaving in the morning. Our whole family is sad--- especially the kids. Miss O will be fine though-- and that is what matters. Just got back from Open House at the kids' school where she ran around and explored each of our children's classrooms. Hopefully she expended all her energy!
P.S. I am a little disappointed in myself. I promised myself I wasn't going to get emotionally involved---- and I did. I have to remind myself we were only a respite family.

It must be hard not to get attached. She is a beautiful child and she sounds like a lot of fun! Does she already have a family?
Were you hosting Miss O for the week for another family that had adopted her? I'm confused.
Of course you miss her as she fit right in and you have a big heart.
Just because you are doing respite care doesnt mean you cant fall in love. And we know that loving others..... sometimes its painful.
Im sure the house will be quiter. Im sorry.....
How wonderful to give your heart even for just a little while.
I admire your talents! There is a special place in heaven for you and yours! Wonderful blog!
((HUGS)) I understand.

Oh, and of course it had nothing at all to do with all of your e-friends deciding this was a relationship made in heaven.
I'm sorry, I hope she's on to another as-happy adventure.
