Gimme an R!

I got this idea from a friend. For less than ten bucks, I was able to make this wonderful piece of art that represents our last name. John commented on how the right leg of the R did not match the left, so I added part of a toothpaste box before decoupaging it.

Other than getting glue all over my clothes and making a mess-- this was a quick craft I got done while Dennis took his afternoon nap.

I think it turned out great-- and nicely occupies the space above our dry-erase board.

A nice addition to your family room. Crafts are fun. The section of toothpaste box did the trick.

Hi, I've been following your blog for a really long time. I saw this old Russian cartoon on youtube and was reminded of your family. It's about a mammonth who does not have a mom and goes out to find her. He goes to Africa and the elephant takes him in even though he is not quite like her. It's such a heartfelt cartoon with an amazing message. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnouTiO9urs&feature=related
