Good thing I didn't, because he is well on his weigh to gaining it back! He now easily polishes off two waffles and then some! And he has graduated to a booster seat! I am also really working with him on table manners so that he doesn't need to use a bib. He still gets messy-- but I remind myself that he is only three!
As usual, one morning, I had excused myself to go quickly shower so that I could take Adam to school.

When I came down stairs I saw Adam with Alex playing Guitar Hero. It warmed my heart.
I don't know about you, but I have Spring Fever, I think! I have been getting rid of things that we don't use, cleaning out closets, and out doing yard work! I am so ready for Spring!
Our island was long ago taken over by lids and food containers to the point where our cupboard doors would not shut. I vowed to get rid of everything that didn't have a lid and get rid of any container that didn't fit under the island. So much didn't fit because all of the food containers that are under the island have the lid on them so they don't stack. Still, we have more than enough-- and most importantly we are organized!
Solicitating organization tips-- I could sure use some!

Spring? That's a long way off for us. It is 11 degrees here right now, with snow on the ground. February and March will also be cold, snowy months. I wish that I could get excited about spring right now, but winter isn't all that bad. For now, I am looking forward to a vacation to warm, sunny Florida in a couple weeks.
Dennis looks great! This is the 1st time I have seen his new eye.
Cleaning out always feels great, doesn't it?
Getting organized always feels sooooo good!!!!
I have a little bit of OCD when it comes to being organized.
I am so jealous that you can work in your yard. Currently, we are buried under a foot of snow. I was standing on the deck yesterday itching to plant something..anything.
Dennis looks amazing. I think of your kids often ..especially Julia, when I am doing dishes. I still use her dishrags several times a day..and love them.
I recommend the following site: http://www.flylady.net/
LOL
Tylerand Brianne beat me to it! I was also going to reccomend flylady.net!
Happy flying!
Yes, flylady is great!
It's not spring here, but I've been doing some of the same. I blame the rat who got into our house and died (after I left out rat poison) behind my pantry. Eeeeewh! The Smell! I had to empty the pantry to shift it and get to the rat. It definitely inspired a clean up.
You described my island bench beautifully ;)
Are you sure it is not nesting? Hugs to you all.

I am trying not to be too anxious for spring yet. We still have at least 2 months of winter ahead of us. I may as well enjoy the snow. Right now it is about 5 degrees out.
I have been doing the same thing, Brad actually accused me of "nesting" last week. :)
My best tip is do it while you are in the mood to do it. I find when "it" hits and I am in the mood a lot more goes out the door. That always feels good and I never miss what is gone. (neither do my kids if they don't see it go!!)
Keeping organized has just gotten A LOT more complicated. There are toys everywhere!
I have been doing the same. Making Goodwill trips each week!
Love your family, love your Blog, love your heart for Jesus.
Dennis looks amazing. I can't get over the changes.
