Too funny! When Jordan was about 3 she fell asleep on the teeter-totter and when I went to get her off she woke up and said she was not done yet. As soon as I walked away...she started dozing again. I have it on video and it is the cutest thing... her teetering with her head was bobbing.
Jimmy fell asleep in his bowl of chili one night at supper. It was all over his forehead.
Then there was Nathan, video taped at church, eating cake in his sleep. His eyes were closed and he was nodding, but the fork kept moving and his mouth kept opening. I wonder if Mitzi can still find that old tape...
That is hilarious! Mine fell asleep in their high chairs a few times, once with their head in a pile of vegetables. But never with a cup in their mouth... that's definitely a first.
that is FUNNY!! I thought I'd lost Halle once when she was about Josiah's age. I was ready to call the police when we finally found her asleep UNDER her bed!!
Poor Dennis must have really been beat to just fall asleep like that while holding his cup. Did he wake up when you went to put him in his bed? Trying to keep up with 11 older sibblings is hard work for a little guy.
Yes, had a 2 yo nod off into a plate full of spaghetti, and I think we got pics but that was before digital (he's 22 now!). Actually, I think it's pretty common for toddlers to sleep in the middle of mealtime; not that far off from what they did while nursing. But, Dennis still having his cup in his mouth definitely wins the prize for funniest sleeper. Too cute! Sherry
I'm not a child, but I'm on some rather heavy duty sedation at night right now. And twice in the last month I've been rudely awakened when the drink I was holding/drinking from prior to falling asleep without warning has tipped over all over me. cold......wet........and the last time sticky!
Yes, I do. Years ago my three year old son fell asleep on a bench at Disneyland. So many parents walked by saying to their terribly tired toddlers, "See. He's taking a nap. Why can't you?".
Hi Christine..... that is soo funny.... These highchairs have a lot to answer for!!!!
Our Alex - aged 2 at the time was found asleep in his high chair bopping up and down with his head in his bowl of pasta... I posted a video of it as I thought it so funny at the time...
I will try to link to it... but am not sure how it works... sure it is easy once you know how but.....
If not it is on my blog - post dated March 11th 2009...

Is John OK? It looks like his face is injured. I hope I'm just seeing a shadow.
