I'm so sorry to read about your dad, Christine. My beloved dad died on April 3rd this year and I miss him every day. Please take the time to grieve and allow all your children the space to grieve with you. My daughter was barely 2 when Dad died and she has spent a lot of time working through her grief. We've read numerous kids' books about death and grandpas who die and they've been a great source of healing for both of us. I've heard people speak of the preciousness of grief and I didn't understand it until this year. It's crap and incredibly painful, but there is clarity and connection in the midst. I pray that your dad invited Jesus into his life at the end and that you can say 'til we meet again'. xx

I'm so sorry to read about your dad, Christine. My beloved dad died on April 3rd this year and I miss him every day.
Please take the time to grieve and allow all your children the space to grieve with you. My daughter was barely 2 when Dad died and she has spent a lot of time working through her grief.
We've read numerous kids' books about death and grandpas who die and they've been a great source of healing for both of us.
I've heard people speak of the preciousness of grief and I didn't understand it until this year. It's crap and incredibly painful, but there is clarity and connection in the midst.
I pray that your dad invited Jesus into his life at the end and that you can say 'til we meet again'.
