Alex Home Three Months

Alex loves to be outside! He enjoyed being pulled in the wagon! His smile says it all!

Dennis is so strong now that he can pull Alex in the wagon.

I have a feeling that Alex will be doing the pulling next year.

These three boys are best buds. They play together, sleep together, and laugh together!

And if you come over-- you better watch out for these three crazy drivers!

A few days ago I caught Alex walking down the stairs instead of his usual slide down on his bottom. I was so excited I could hardly wait to grab my camera. Everyday, I do some physical therapy with him like I saw them do at the hospital- and I am noticing a difference. His legs are stronger, his right leg straightens out more now, and he seems to have better mobility all together.

I had a little tear in my eye watching the video - what a great effort. Good for you Aex!
The 3 little buds (we would say 'mates' here) look great. I'm glad they are such good pals. I hope they always are.

well will you look at that! when they do things like that dont ya feel like "they were so wrong" in not giving him a chance at the orphanage? Sophie is working very VERY hard to sit herself up. and she scoots all over the place AND has started feeding herself AND can now thread and buckle her AFOS. this is the child they said would never feed herself. never do anything. and yet she amazes us every day! great job alex on the stairs!

I agree with Sarah Lynn, it is hard to believe it's only been three months...he just fit so seamlessly into your family. I felt that way about Dennis too, your kids obviously have been impacted by your and John's level of acceptance because they seem to just treat them as one of the gang from the get-go.
So,so,so,so happy Alex ended up in your family.

Hooray for Alex!! Just out of curiosity, I think I remember you saying that one of his legs was out of the socket or something. Will that be repaired, or is that not necessary?

Such loving little brothers they are! Hey, how long does it usually take to get passports back from the San Francisco Ukrainian Embassy? Just wondering since I know you're in CA, and we need to send in Isabel's soon. Thanks!

Blessings to your beautiful family!
