Uncharted Waters

We are going tent camping this weekend with our small group. All fourteen of us. Honestly, I am nervous and stressed about how it will all play out-- but we are going to do it anyway!

Afterall, what is the worst that can happen?

You know what?

I am not even going to go there.

See you when we get back!

Have fun! I love camping, even in a tent! Just give me a campfire and a few marshmallows and I'm a happy camper. :)

the worst that could happen is you have a blast and come home exhausted and excited to go and do it again! I can see already you camp in a lot more luxury than we do!

I have been following for a while as we adopted a special needs child almost 5 years ago.

I love your posts and feel the same way you do a lot of times! We also just the medication thing 10 months ago and I was SOO against it. It has been a miracle though!

Oh and I love the Lord too!!! AWESOME!!

OK, so tenting. the first time we went with our young kids they all got up in the middle of the night and looked around and thought WOW cool! Everyone is right here! Woke us all up and talked for over an hour. I told them they weren't invited to camp any longer :)

Blessings to you!

I have been following your blog for a long time. We adopted a special needs child almost 5 years ago, also from Ukraine.

You share my thoughts many times. I thank you for writing so much and so honestly and so often. I love the Lord too!! AWESOME!!!

OK so tenting. The first time we took the kids (3 of them) camping they all woke up at 3 in the morning and looked around and were like "This is so cool! Everyone is here in one space!" They proceeded to talk to us for over an hour. I told them they weren't invited to camp any more.

Blessings,

I camped some years ago and my ex and I camped all over Europe the summer of 1971.

Have a great weekend.

Wonder how many tents you'll need?

I know how much needs to be packed when camping and I can't imagine how you get all that plus 14 people in your van. I imagine you're taking 2 vehicles.

We love camping too! But here in this part of Canada, it's now too chilly to tent camp. You're so lucky to live in a place where you can enjoy summery activities all year long!
Have a great time :o)

Very exciting...You will love it! I hope you have a great time! Favorite things about our camping trips have always been waking up in the moring to the fresh air with the birds chirping away, the campfire, s'mores and bush pies. I can't wait to see how it goes!

It will be great, even if it isn't! You'll have memories and stories for years to come. We love to camp, and sometimes it yucky and messy, etc. But eveyone always wants to go again...

I love your blog! You have done a great job talking about your feelings and I appreciate your honesty.

The Lord is awesome and it is great to see Him working through you in the lives of your children.

The first time we camped with three of our children they all woke in the middle of the night and looked around at us. They thought this was the coolest thing and proceeded to talk to us for over an hour. I told them they weren't invited to camp any more!

A word of encouragement...if Straterra doesn't work, try something else. It didn't work at all for my grand daughter, but Vyvanse worked like a miracle! School has changed like night and day! The emotional breakdowns over nothing have been reduced dramatically. I feel guilty giving her drugs, but our home is so much better now. She is not at all a Zombie either. I thank God for the Rx.
