A Night of Carving

Three kids left to Grandma and Grandpa's house so it felt a little lonely. Yet, it does change the dynamics a bit which is refreshing from time to time. I'm just sorry they missed pumpkin carving. I was just an observer this year but promised to roast the pumpkin seeds.
John got everyone started on their pumpkin. They all seemed to enjoy themselves but I think Anna took the cake because she passionately carved away at it and was so proud that she had done it all be herself.
Anna's baby pumpkin turned out so cute.
Alex and Dennis' faces lit up when Daddy lit the pumpkins!
Now four pumpkins have invaded our front porch. Rosie our cat who has decided she likes it here after all, is not too happy.

They turned out really cool! Oh dear about them frightening the cat though! Perhaps you ought to have carved one in the shape of...I don't know...a giant mouse or rat! :P
