Tie Dye is my guess, too. We did it in my college class, Art for Elementary teachers. Like I would EVER do tie dye with 19 Kindergarteners and no aide! LOL =)
I didn't have a clue until I went to post a comment and saw all the comments about tie dying. I bet the kids had fun doing it. Hopefully it was outside on the lawn.
I've never tie-dyed anything, don't even know how it works, but I was looking I guessed, and according to everyone else, IT'S TIE-DYE! I don't know how I knew. :-P

My first thought was also Tie Die! SO fun. My friend did this with her kids, and then they all had family photos done in those shirts... the baby even had tie die onsie. It was SO cute!`

We just had this happen at our house too.
My daughter's boyfriend is in the army in Texas, and they tease him about being a tree hugging hippie from Oregon!!
So while on his visit last week they tie-dyed shirts and took pictures in the Redwoods!

I just taught 20 kids to do this. At once.
And you know what? That's not the first time I've done that. Last summer it was 30 kids.
