Alex went to school today. I think he is in great hands. As soon as I wheeled him in, Teacher Gina taught him to recognize his name a few different times, and already started teaching him a song to remember how to spell his name. I was impressed. The IEP team is on board with my requests such as not being overly affectionate with him until I know that he is fully attached and understands that I am coming back for him and yes, he is coming home. I explained this to him the best that I can and he seemed to be excited by the little bag I packed for him that holds his snack. They appear to be sensitive about making sure Alex is included in everything that the other children do, which means no more sitting under a tree in a stroller while the other kids play like they did in the orphanage.

Dennis has become so animated in the last few months. Here he is playing peek-a-boo with his paper plate.

Alex loves Rachel's doll named Emily. It is just his size!

A year ago, I couldn't wait to see Dennis playing on this swing set...... now I can't wait till I see Alex climbing those stairs. I am pretty sure it is gonna happen.
Jonny is loving school this year. Hasn't cried once, although he does ask if he can stay home once in a while--- but what kid doesn't ask that? Praise the Lord, that he is finally enjoying kindergarten. Thanks to
all that suggested that we pull him out and wait a year. You guys were so smart. Just look at Jonny now! He is wanting to teach Alex what he knows!

Christine,
Why don't you stop allowing anonymous posting? These cowards can go play somewhere else! The ones who come here for the right reasons can take a few minutes to set up a google account. =)
