Christine, I must share something so funny with you! I have often seen folks getting attacked from "Anon" and many bloggers eventually blocking this difficult blogger. After 2 years of blogging I just now realized after re-reading your blog-link, that "Anon" is short for anonymous!!!! All along I had thought "Anon" was one really crazy blogger that stalked ever adoption blog! Figured you would get a kick out of my lapse in common sense! Have a great day!
I love the comment from The Flying Eagle. That pesky "anon" must surely have seemed like a prolific blog reader and commenter. Since all "anon's" seem to take themselves sooo seriously it is great to think that we can get a laugh out of them anyway. Probably not what they had in mind.
All of my kids basically strip when we hit the door. Shirt, shoes, socks are all optional. Even in the winter the kids won't wear socks unless I get onto them, which I do, because I have a thing about shoes with no socks. Ick!!!
aaah yes, the socks. Georgiy hates his with the passion of a thousand burning suns. He thinks they are hand puppets and uses them as such.
We have a "Crocs" basket by the front door filled with Crocs for each kid (and adult) and we have a shoe shelf upstairs for more formal shoes. Oh yes, and the "sock basket" where we will occasionally match a lucky pair for special occasions in the summer. Which is next to never here in CA.
To Flying Eagle...LOL!!! Like I said, Dutch mama here and can I tell you, it took me nearly 12 years before I figured out what a certain road sign meant? The sign said:" PED XING" Took me TWELVE YEARS to realize one glorious day (you gotta worry when it takes that long for the light to go on eh?) that this sign meant:"Pedestrians Crossing" I guess English being my second language is a little bit of an excuse but nevertheless....that was worthy of a new "Slowsky" Comcast commercial me thinks. So don't feel bad LOL.
Caleb is a sock thrower, I find them everywhere! I'll be watching TV or eating dinner.....and will look up and spot a sock hanging off a shelf or plant....Now he has taught Elijah to throw his socks too. If Elijah doesn't throw it far enough, Caleb will pick it up and throw it for him. He doesn't stop until it lands on something high!:) Amy

Great picture. My miss Abby dislikes her socks as well.
