I cried as I watched this Christine! Even as I type this my sweet Sam is asleep here by me and he is such a miracle to me every day!! I praise God that he led us to China to bring home this tiny boy AND for that matter, ALL of his siblings!! They are such a blessing to us!
Amazing video Christine! We can't wait for news that you are invited to travel for Alexey. What a cute little smile he has, he will definatly fit in with your family! :)
Where are the tissues? I need one. I am so happy for your family and have been praying and thinking alot about him. He is such a doll baby. I know he will thrive in your care.
this is probably my favorite of all the videos you've made... and that's saying a lot. :-)
i have a question for the next time you answer questions, but it's a tough one so i understand if you don't want to answer it.
what will you tell Alexsey if he asks why you left him in ukraine and took only his brother home?
that isn't meant as criticism - as an adult i understand why. but i know kids can't see or understand things the way we can, and i'm just wondering how you'll answer that if it comes up.
praying that things move along quickly & Alexsey is home SOON!!!!!
Thank you for the reminder. As I see the amazing progress my daughter has made and how she has embrassed her new home and how much she loves to be loved...it all makes me want to go back and bring another one home so they too have a chance of a loving family...ahhh, people who have not being in those orphanages will never understand
Christine, do you know if anyone is adopting that cute little girl with Alexsey in the ball bin? I seem to remember that according to the people who took the videos/pictures, that the two were close? I hate to think of the two being separated if they are. How wonderful if someone in the US were adopting her too, and they could somehow keep in touch! She is a cutie!
That video was soooo good, Christine. Alexsey is a beautiful little boy. They are all beautiful children who will one day wonder why their alive. What a perfect song choice! I pray that each of these children will have a home very soon.
Oh Christine! That was so beautiful and so sad, and so moving. I wish i could adopt. i wish i could afford it. It tugs at my heart and i want so badly to adopt more children....
Beautiful.... I just wish we weren't considered "too old" for almost every child.
Actually, with a thrill I noticed some children on the Reeces' Rainbow website where the parents can be "under 60" What a thrill! We're praying about it.
Well I just can't stop crying. I don't see how anyone could watch this video and not be ignited with a passion for orphans. Thank you for sharing it. In the midst of the stress of the adoption process, this is a HUGE reminder to put things in perspective and remember just why we are doing what we are doing. That was beautiful.
Amazing video! We've been looking a lot at the Reeces Rainbow site and really seeking out God's direction for us to adopt again. I would love to talk sometime about adopting an older child from the Ukraine (if you ever have a chance - I know you're busy!). Do you think (based on your experiences so far) that adopting more than one older special needs child (not siblings) would be too much stress for those children and/or the adoptive family? Adopting our first 3 all at the same time was challenging but, by God's grace, an amazing blessing. . . but they were siblings and do not have special medical needs. Just wondering what your thoughts were. I know that if the Lord is calling us to do it then He will be sufficient for all things needed!
