William's class learned alot about him this week. This poster tells all about him.
For Career Day, Grandma put Rachel's hair in curlers.

Doesn't Rachel look like a Babushka next to a Dedushka?

Here is Julia modeling the most recent scarf she made. It is a pretty light pink and soft brown. It turned out really nice, I think.

Loved learning a little more about William - via the picture of his poster. I always wanted to try a pogo stick.
Your family is unique! I admire you and your husband so much!
That is a very nice scarf!! She has done such a great job!
I just love when schools do the "kid of the week" programs like this. So much is geared to academics nowadays, that social and moral development gets lost. It is so great for a kid to be "celebrated" for who they are, and to gain such pride in themselves from experiences such as this. I still remember the excitement I had of being "kid of the week" in 5th grade. I was at a new school, and that week helped me gain friends in that they learned more about me, because I was so shy. Those friends remained my friends through high school. I wish these experiences on today's kids too.
♥ Very cute scarf! I love brown & pink together!
I love doing Star of the Week thing with my classes!
