It's Getting There

Slowly, the new play set is getting put together. Here is the progress, little by little.

The kids have had so much fun--- even though it is not done. It makes me so happy to see how much enjoyment they have gotten out of it thus far.

This has definitely been a family project.

John spent most of Saturday leveling, removing sod, and staking it to the ground.

This is how far they got last night!

  1. I think that you should leave the slide on the fence!! How many trips to the ER for broken arms/legs do you think you would have to make?! (0;

  4. Looking good! It is funny to see them working/playing OUTSIDE over the weekend. Our wind chills are below zero! SAME COUNTRY such different climates...always amazes me at God's cool design!

  7. I remember as a kid climbing into a neighbor's tree (from their stone wall) to look into their window to see if Barbara was done with supper. Why I didn't just knock on the door, I don't remember. Well, I fell from the tree and broke my finger. My mother heard me coming back up the hill and thought I must be half dead from the screaming. I was a tomboy.

    Playscape looks great. The neighborhood kids will all be over I'm sure.

  11. Wow, that brings back memories of when we put up one of those at our old house. It was a much bigger project than we thought and boy do I miss having that! It was a purchase I never regretted! Have fun everyone!
