Dennis wants my camera so bad! I think he wants to play Mr. Photographer.

Time to go wake him up to go pick up his safety glasses and get the kids from school!

I rented "Facing the Giants" and bought candy and popcorn! What are you doi

  7. Hi Christine

You are welcome to link to my blog. Any help that parents can get can only be a good thing. I wish we had been more prepared for what we went through and known at least one other family that could have really understood what we were saying...

  11. It is a great movie. I am spending a quiet night at home with my family. But sad because I am missing my daughter's birthday! She's in VN, I had hoped she would be home with us, or I would be with her :o( She's 11 today.

  12. The kids and I are spending the night at Grandma's. They love to do that.

NOTE: Save some Christmas money. . . .Dennis is 2. All you have to do is wrap a bunch of boxes and he will think he hit the jack-pot. Oh, throw in some tissue paper to make it even more exciting.

  18. I love the days when just boxes made them gleefully happy. I made the comment that "Boxes used to be a staple of entertainment in our house" And the girls made me laugh as they reminised about the refrigerator box they play with all summer one year. It was a great night of bonding with the girls. (Austin got quickly bored with our giggling) Thanks for posting the pictures to remind me of that.

  19. Dennis' cousins LOVED the baby in the box photos :-) !!! They still love boxes too. Does Dennis like seeing the photos of himself on the digital camera? That was our problem with Brian - he got used to seeing the instant feedback with the camera! If I tried to take a video, I had to be stealthy, or all I got was a little guy coming at me, hand out, saying "See! See!"

We spent the evening sewing. I was helping Brian make a buffalo for a school project, and Honor sewed a pillow for her Barbie.

  22. I bought a pecan pie at a tremendous local pie place for Craig's birthday. Anastasia went for an overnight to one friend; Sergei went to another. Lydia went out so it was a cosy night with only three children at home. Craig and I curled up on the couch and watched an "Inspector Lynley" mystery. Miracle! I stayed awake until the end!!!!!
