Alexsey (Alosha is his nickname) is a three year old little boy with Spina Bifida who would be a delightful addition to any family. I know because I took these pictures of him when we were in Ukraine adopting Dennis. He is an absolute sweetie pie. Out of all the children there, I would have chosen him, hands down if we were able to adopt another child at this time. He has the sweetest demeanor, much like Dennis' and his smile could be seen across the playground. I can tell just by the way he interacted with me that he has so much potential. He seemed very inquisitive and I could visualize how he would take off exploring his world if he was just given the chance like our Dennis was. He is able to pull himself up to a standing position and he can walk along the playpen railing by holding onto it. He can follow along in little games and he appears to catch on to things very quickly. When I took a picture of him and then showed it to him, he smiled and asked for more in Russian. I continued to take pictures of him and I could tell it made his day to have the attention. I bet he can live a near normal life if he just had a family to give him the love and attention that every child deserves.

He does look like an adorable little boy!
Christine,
In a heartbeat, but our age will not allow it with new Ukrainian Law.
I am now 50. He looks under 5.
Do you know if he is available for adoption for sure?
If so, I'm gonna send my daughter in law over here to visit. :)
He looks like an amazing little booy. I hope someone adopts him.
aw - what a sweetie! i hope he finds a good home, soon!! i wish i could adopt all the adorable children!
Oh, the eyes....
If only I could convince my husband we were ready for another one! He is too cute!!
I couldn't help but look at all of the children that need mommies and daddies. My heart aches for them. I wish we could take one.
We would love to adopt him in a heartbeat. It's just the finances come in the way. I swear they should never put dollars signs on Forever Famlilies...
Oh how I wish I didn't live in NJ! NJ limits the number of children allowed to be adopted to 6 (meaning now more than 6 children allowed in a home unless you have them biologically.)
Breaks my heart!
I would adopt, and adopt if I could!
We just started the process and this little boy caught my eye the frist time I saw him on Reece's rainbow. We have four children, one who has spina bifida, so Alosha would fit right in with our crew!! I know you don't know me, but if you think about it, pray for our finances as we consider international adoption of a special needs child!
