Does this count as scrapping?

Andrew is student of the week starting tomorrow. The teacher wanted me to paste some pictures on cardboard, but I decided to jazz things up a bit. Andrew was very happy with the finished product, and it got me in the mood to do some real scrappin'. Getting the stuff out and actually doing it is another thing, but we'll see. Right now, it is much easier making family videos.

I do know what you mean. I get so excited to work in my books and I get all my stuff out and it just sits there. I love the page you did for Andrew!

Oh, I used to scrapbook. Lately, I just can't get my scrapping mojo back though. It all seems so time consuming and complicated now, with the elaborate layouts and embellishments. Our (sort-of) local scrapbook store is so big it's downright overwhelming. My interest is kind of piqued about digital scrapping though. If there were somewhere I could take a class on that, I'd be all over it.

I agree with Rachael and Heather...I love to scrapbook, but the energy it takes and the mess and the time...

UGH.

I've switched to digital scrapbooking (shutterfly, snapfish, creative memories all have it). It allows me to work on it with no set up or clean up. I can work on it for 15 minutes or 3 hours...whatever I have time and energy for.
